Multidisciplinary Research Partnership
The KLIFAD partnership bring together experts in liver disease, public health, mental health, behavioural science and primary care as well as people with personal experience of alcohol related problems.
The partnership shares a common goal to understand the effects of harmful drinking and alcohol related liver disease better.
Alcohol-related liver disease is a major, preventable cause of early death, and as many as one in five of people who drink more than the recommended level will screen positively for it.
We hope our shared experience will help find new solutions and increase understanding among everyone affected by the disease.
